A hidden backyard made for enjoying life

NYT is tucked away in a sheltered backyard in the heart of Tromsø, surrounded by city life and great places to eat and drink. It’s all about slowing down and enjoying the moment – whether you’re here for lunch, dinner, or a drink after work.

The restaurant spans two floors. The ground floor is open and informal, with views into the kitchen and out toward the backyard. Upstairs, we can host small and medium-sized gatherings in a private space that seats up to 25 guests.

The menu follows the seasons and is built around quality ingredients from Northern Norway. There’s also a bar where our bartenders mix classic and modern cocktails well into the evening.

Our backyard is open all year round. In summer, it comes alive with the scent of the grill, music, and good company – making it one of Tromsø’s most atmospheric meeting spots.
